I am obese and desperately want to lose weight. I had an accident in July where I almost had to have my foot amputated and have been in a wheelchair ever since.
I have started a diet, but it is all so overwhelming. I have no willpower but I want it. I need to know anything about what to do when I want to overeat.
Being in this chair is stressing me out! I eat out of boredom or no lack of willpower.
I used to be very pretty and now I feel so fat and ugly. I feel like there is no use dieting because no one wants me anymore.
It's been 8 years since my last boyfriend and I'm lonely.
Does anyone have any advice? No predators please.
Thank you.

find out what is your problem and find a solution to that problem.
break it down to the smallest of problems and take it one step at the time!
for those of you who want to help someone anonymously you should check out this website http://www.lettersfromthemaker.com/
it's a site where you can send a letter signed by God, pretty weird and cool

you need to be doing things
it is important for you to be doing things.keep busy so that you dont have time to eat.since you are unable to walk around and all you have time to sit down write goals for yourself and c=achive them.there is so much to do that isnt physical and you can do it!!!write things down and make it happen.in regard of losing weight if you are busy you will not be focused on that.you can buy gums or pick a certain foor like peppers to nosh on all the time.i lost a lot of weight like that and you can too.pick something healthy you like and convince yourself that its what you want to eat.you will get so into it and wont realize.
woman you can do it.
everything is possible.

Weigh Down Diet - THE ANSWER!
Hi!!
I can tell by your user name that you are a Godly, spiritual woman. I completely recommend The Weigh Down Diet book - it's a guide to permanent weight loss by going to God instead of food - and they explain EXACTLy how to do this. It worked for me and I'm free of being enslaved to food! Good luck and email me at annieouterbridge@gmail.com if you have any questions. xoxo

Do you need a pen-pal paetner?
I'm about 415 lbs. and I need to lose half my weight. This has become serious lately as I was just diagnosed with a serious condition arising from the excess strain to my heart. I would be happy to trade email with you for mutual encouragement and support.

Family And Friends.
hey.. i think the most important thing when you want to loose weight is have the support of your friends and family. They'll help. And whenever you get a craving, like others have been saying, concentrate on something else. Get a hobby. like cycling, jogging, or even dancing and singing! i mean anything to keep you not thinking about food. But don't stop eating, just have a healthy diet. Your friends and family will support you and help you. :) Good Luck.. x
Take Care x

Switch your focus
I know how it is to eat when bored, stressed, sad, etc. If you will try and find a new thing to replace the reach for food, things could turn around for you. You sound like a VERY intelligen person so how about writing? Just start out with a notebook of ideas to focus your thoughts on, and I bet you can find some topic or idea you could run with! Also, you may try and journal, write a little about your thoughts and feelings. You may write a book about it and help someone else going thru the same kind of thing. Another one I could suggest is cartooning. A laugh goes a long way. Even if you don't feel like smiling at the moment, you may start thinking of some of the stupid things people say to you, or things they do and there ya go! You have a comic strip character. Good luck. Things are in your control even if you don't feel it right now!

Little Things
I had a friend in college who was always overweight. A few years later, I saw him and he was trim and fit. I said, "You look great. How did you do that?" He said all he did was give up between meal snacks. I've thought about that often. I tend to overeat myself. But when I want to eat more of something than I should, I remind myself, "You can eat this again tomorrow." It really helped. I'm tempted to eat two burgers, and I tell myself "Have another one tomorrow". That comfort seems to help me do without some things. Hang in there. You're obviously a caring person with good things going for you. You're not ugly. You're a special, wonderful child of God. Good luck and God bless.
