I'm new at this - I've only been using computers since 1977. In both Mozilla and Thunderbird, I have MAJOR problems in finding the most elementary answers - for example, I have now spend over an hour trying to figure out how to edit a list of contacts. Nowhere do I find a search feature that is useful in the sense of leading to answers like "On the File pulldown, click on 'Edit list...'" or something like that. To be able to make full use of these superb programs, it seems as though you have to have all the fundamentals before you can even ask a question.
I'm making an offer at the same time. I'm a professional editor and former high school physics teacher. I believe I could be a lot of help to someone who knows the Mozilla/Thunderbird territory and is interested in bringing all the fragments of information together in a single "Help" file that us novices could use.
Anyone interested? Please contact me at xeditor@RTAC.org.
Thanks for listening!
